Karl Blossfeldt ( German) was trained as a sculptor in an ironworks 1880s. He had begun to photograph around 1900. A book 'Urformen der Kunst ' (Prototypes of Art) was published in 1928. There were mainly greatly magnified plant pictures. His photography was inspiration for making this gallery...which is still in progress.
